When a prescription order is placed by the patient, the Carescripts EMC kiosk platform sends an email to them during each of the following events:
- Processing of Order
An email is sent to the patient to alert them their order is in the processing stage and is under review by the pharmacist.
- Shipment of Order
An email is sent to the patient to alert them their order has been shipped. This includes the carrier with which it has been shipped, along with links to tracking numbers.
- Prescription Renewal Notice
An email is sent to the patient to alert them their script is about to expire and to call or visit a physician in your clinic.
- Auto Shipment Notice
An email is sent to the patient to alert them that their auto refill is about to be shipped and it should arrive within 7 days.
- Problematic Orders
An email is sent to the patient to alert them of a problem with their credit card, billing/shipping address, or any other urgent information.
